Interstate Moving

⦿ Our Driver will arrive at pick up location on estimated time specified and will give you a call 1hour before arrival. We will keep you informed about any potential delays if there are any. The Driver will let you know the exact day of delivery. Please allow sufficient time for each delivery.

⦿ Full payment is required at pick up address, unless the customer available at the drop off address. Payment methods involve Card, Cash and Direct Bank Transfer.

⦿ Our back loading service the deliveries may take from 1 to 7 days from the date of collection. If you have booked full truck the delivery will be done within 24 to 48 hours.

⦿ If customer has stairs at either pick up or drop off location $80/ per flight will be charged. Truck should be park within 30-meter distance from property otherwise $65 flat cost may apply for loading and unloading.

⦿ Company do not take responsibility for parking. We request all the customer to arrange for the truck parking prior to arrival. If there is paid parking available customer need to bear the cost.

⦿ The Company has all necessary equipment required to carry out the work agreed such as heavy padded blankets, trolleys, ropes and straps. We do provide public liability insurance for damage caused during transit. Please note we are only covered for public liability, truck accidental damage, Loading and unloading insurance. Clients are encouraged to get their own goods in transit insurance cover from third party insurance covers such as Yes insurance or Removal insurance. Please note – We will not be liable of any damage if the items are broken, scratched, dented or damaged during transit.

⦿ In the event you opt “not to get an insurance cover “for your items during removal or storage, the company’s liability to you for damage to any item will be limited to a maximum amount of $60per item and $30 for any missing or stolen items. The limitation of liability will not be applicable in the event there is evidence that proves that the damage was a result of the company’s failure to exercise due care and skill as set out in the Australian consumer law, Section 60.

⦿ FEES FOR CANCELLING OR POSTPONING THE SERVICE

In the event that the relocation is cancelled or postponed, we have the right to charge you the applicable fees. Check out the details provided below for a simpler idea of the charges involved.

‣There will be no penalty if the notice is provided for more than 15 days.
‣ If you give notice between 10 and 15 days, you will have to pay a 40% of the total amount.
‣ If you give notice between 7 and 10 days before the move, you will have to pay a 40% of the total amount.
‣ If you cancel within 2–7 days, you will have to pay a 60% of the total amount.
‣ Customers are required to pay the full amount of their booking if customers cancel their booking with less than two days’ notice.

⦿ At the time you accept delivery, you will be required to sign an inventory job sheet to confirm that you have received all items in an acceptable state and there are no missing items. If you wish to claim any missing items, you must do so within 24 hours from the time you accepted delivery. You failure to notify us for any loss or damage will result in waiver of your right to claim any loss or damage from the company thereafter.

⦿ If the goods are stored at our storage and re-delivered charge will be applied on an hourly rate. Please Note: if the cubic meters exceed there will be an extra cost.

 

Compensation and Repairs

➤ We use Professional and certified handyman. If your goods are damaged and taken for repair, we will repair them as close to their original condition as possible.

We will not compensate for any consequential loss or loss of value.

➤ We will not pay repair costs where these are likely to exceed the pre-damage market value of the item – in these cases we will offer compensation to the market value.

➤ Where a replacement or compensation is offered, this is not a “new for old” service. The valuation will take into account the age, depreciation, and wear and tear of the item. If there is a dispute regarding the valuation of an item, it will be assessed by an independent licensed auctioneer, or a person nominated by our insurance company.
